Then, when all was said and done...we jumped in a river, laid on a bridge in the sun, drank slushies, ate onion rings and soft serve ice cream and drove around the back roads till dark. All in all a pretty typical summer weekend in the middle of nowhere.
After braving a street fest, an over-abundance of college campus tours, traffic for miles and more tourists than the little town in which I grew up in knows what to do with itself Rebecca and I managed to set up Charlene and Chris's wedding. Everything was pink, shades of the richest raspberry to the softest ballet pink. (I'm sensing a 2010 wedding trend here....)
